Chain 33.

Row 1: Work 1 SC in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across. You should have 32 stitches. Chain 1 and turn.

Row 2: Work 1 SC in the BLO of each stitch across. Chain 1 and turn.

Rows 3–64: Repeat Row 2.

Do not fasten off yet.

Finishing the Hat

Fold your rectangle in half so the first and last rows are lined up.

Slip stitch or sew the two short ends together to form a tube. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for closing the top.

Using your yarn needle, weave the yarn tail in and out evenly around the top edge of the hat. Pull the yarn firmly to cinch the opening closed.

Secure the yarn, fasten off, and weave in all remaining ends.

Turn the hat right side out. Add a pom-pom to the top if desired.

Your cozy I Love Snow Hat is complete!
